Together with the citizens of Elefsina, Motus Terrae and Dcalk, will co-design a cards game. A game that would invite players to express and share their opinion on various aspects of public space; not only statements, but local stories and prospective narratives, as well.

Public space: a shared concern

At first sight, one could ask, what a Greek organization from the performing arts domain and a French one focusing on game culture, do have in common?

Motus Terrae is using performative tools for an applied research on public space, through collaborative projects engaging local dynamics. The French collective Dcalk, since 2011, underlines critical content in games and explores ways of creating, crafting and distributing games in digital & public space.

The two organizations combine their skills, methods, resources and contexts to explore new approaches on the subject of public space, through a common project.

Thanks to the Tandem Europe program that supports experimental collaborations between cultural change makers from the EU member states, Motus Terrae based in Elefsina and Dcalk from Tours are «tandeming» in 2016, in both cities, to set up the EleusisBox Project.
